The prep cook will assist in daily production as part of a team. He or she will work with other cooks to provide quality food and service to our customers. The cook will be very active in a fast-paced kitchen assisting to prepare scratch made soups, sauces, assembling pre-packaged items for our retail locations and other duties as assigned. He or she will also assist in the cleaning and organization of the kitchen. This position is generally about 15-20 hours per week on weekends and evenings but is dependent on business needs.
The Cook I will accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods: to include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
